These are latex style files to produce letters following the official guidelines for UF letterhead (as of a few years ago when I wrote all of this). The main driver file is ufltr.tex. The file letterhdwm.eps is just the PostScript graphic for the UF wordmark (there may be a new and better version available now). Both of these files need to be put somewhere that latex will find them (common to all users). The files statltr.sty, biostatltr.sty, and ifasstatltr.sty are examples of generic departmental style files that reproduce the old departmental letterhead. These should also be put in a system directory where latex will find them. The file exltr1.tex is an example of a letter using statltr.sty. The file myltr.sty is a personalized version that I use for my own letters. I keep it in a personal directory where latex always looks when I run it. The file exltr2.tex is an example of a letter using myltr.sty. All of this stuff is terribly old and should be brought up to date and into conformance with newer LaTeX(2e) conventions, BUT IT WORKS. RANT: Actually the little bit of code that's used to print the equal opportunity thingy at the bottom of the first page of a letter is not working anymore for some reason. However, since there is no release time or other reward or recognition associated with this kind of work, I don't know when I'll ever get around to looking into this problem. If I was to get started on it, I would probably rewrite the whole thing.
