Histograms

The data (AGEDEATH) used in this example can be found in the Minitab folder under STUDNT14. The first three lines of the data are below.

To make a histogram, go to the Graphs pull down menu and select Histogram. The following screen should appear.

Select Simple and hit o.k. A new screen will appear.

Click on the variable of which you want to make a histogram. Click o.k. A histogram like the one below will appear.

  However, it is always good to create a title to do this, click on the box entitled Labels and put the title in the box entitled “Title”.

Now, click on O.K twice and you have your histogram.
