Quiz 1: Scheduled on Friday, January 18. Material for the quiz is Lecture 2 to Lecture 4. The quiz
will consist of five multiple choice questions. No calculators required, just make sure you go
carefully through the lecture notes and understand the main results and concepts.
Quiz 2: Scheduled on Monday, February 11. Material for the quiz is Lecture 8 to Lecture 11.
Quiz 3: Scheduled on Friday, February 15. Material for the quiz is Lecture 12 and Lecture 13.

The duration of the exam is 50 minutes.
The material for the exam is Lecture 2 to Lecture 7.
Students are allowed to bring ONE PAGE of notes (the maximum size of the page is same as the A4 size pages used in lecture notes) and a
pocket-size calculator (it is not necessary to bring a calculator, it is acceptable to leave your answers as ratios on integers).
No other material including books, references, lecture notes or text-capable electronic devices is allowed.
The exam will consist of 4 questions. Out of these, two questions will be from Homeworks 1 to 2 (they may be slightly modified).
Exam 2: Scheduled on Wednesday, February 27.
The duration of the exam is 50 minutes.
The material for the exam is everything we covered in class from Lecture 8 to Lecture 16.
