Sr. Statistician

Zynx Health, a wholly owned subsidiary of Cerner Corporation, is widely recognized for advancing evidence-based medicine through solutions and services that deliver the latest scientific knowledge to support best practices.  The company's research division, a leader in health services research, is considered the preeminent provider of health economic and outcomes research, quality of care assessments, literature synthesis, clinical consulting, and clinical trials/program evaluations.

Zynx has an immediate need for a Sr. Statistician.

The Sr. Statistician leads the effort in developing proposals, studying protocols and writing analysis plans.  The Sr. Statistician oversees all analytical activity and programmers at Zynx Health and performs statistical analyses; develops descriptive and statistical research summary reports for abstracts, publications and presentations for sponsors; monitors and facilitates data collection; develops databases; and coordinates data working with other departments.  The Sr. Statistician also collaborates with research staff in the fulfillment of client deliverables and assists with preparation of study agreements and budgets including client communication.  Position is based in Beverly Hills, California.  Relocation assistance provided.

Requirements:
· Doctorate degree in biostatistics or related field plus 3 years of postgraduate experience; or Masters degree in biostatistics plus 5 years of postgraduate experience.
· Experience in clinical research and/or health services research, epidemiology, and/or evaluation research, and/or survey and claims data exposure
· Outstanding leadership skills
· Ability to work with minimal supervision and to assume responsibility for details of assigned projects as well as work effectively with a team
· Incumbent must have knowledge of personal computers and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) plus at least 3+ years of SAS
· Strong methodological and project management skills
· Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
