Assistant or Associate Professor

The Division of Biostatistics in the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health at Yale University is accepting applications for the position of Assistant or Associate Professor.  Applicants should have a Ph.D. in statistics, biostatistics, or a closely related field.  Preference will be given to relatively recent graduates and to those with experience in spatial statistics, disease modeling, clinical trials, or computational statistics. Exceptional candidates with other research interests and experience will also be considered.  The selected candidate will be expected to be an effective teacher and collaborator, and will conduct an independent program of methodological research.

The Division of Biostatistics has strengths in regression, epidemiologic methods, clinical trials, statistical theory, genetics and correlated data.  The faculty has close collaborative interests with other divisions in the Department, the Child Study Center, the Yale Cancer Center, the Pepper Center for Aging, as well as other departments throughout the University.
