Postdoctoral fellowship positions in Computational Biology and Bioinformatics sponsored by the National Library of Medicine are available for statisticians and biostatisticians to acquire biology knowledge and informatics skills working as part of several major genome-related projects at Yale, including Yale’s recently established Center for Genomics and Proteomics. The positions involve developing innovative computational and statistical methods in genomics research and integrating these methods in databases and computer-based tools to support and enable genomic research, helping analyze genome project data, and helping with related academic and teaching activities.

Candidates should have a Ph.D. in statistics or biostatistics and significant experience with computer programming and technology.
