for the position of Credit Risk Associate Analyst
This position will support members of the Risk team on analytical projects,
month end tracking/processing, and statistical analysis that relate to
Marketing, Credit Risk and Operations.
EDUCATION:
· REQUIRED - Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer
Science, Economics, Finance, Business related field required.
· PREFERRED - Master’s/Advance Degree in Statistics, Mathematics,
Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or Business related field
WORK EXPERIENCE
· Direct experience in data analysis, SAS/SPSS, SQL Server/Oracle
SQL coding,.
· Experience in staging, cleaning and analyzing large data sets.
· A background in any of the following is a strong plus.
* Experience in consumer finance/cards/banking industry in either a
Marketing or Risk function.
* Reasonable understanding of the operational and data flows
within a financial service environment.
* Experience working with credit bureau/application and master file
based data.
* Prior exposure to scorecards and scorecard tracking.
· Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
· Self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized and able to manage
multiple tasks.
· Strong communication skills.
