Assistant Professor (Statistics)
Applications are invited for one or more tenure-track position sat the
level, starting September 2002. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Statistics. Our
primary focus is a strong commitment to and proven ability in undergraduate teaching,
although continued scholarly activity and professional development are expected.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience teaching in a statistical laboratory
and an interest in innovative instructional methods using current technology. The
Department offers Bachelors degrees in Applied Mathematics, Computational Mathematics
and Applied Statistics, as well as a Masters degree in Industrial and Applied Mathematics.
