Opportunities in Research & Development
Monsanto is currently seeking a Research Statistician to provide statistical consulting support to the Monsanto Trait Development Pipeline Group, which is responsible for identification and evaluation of transgenic traits for agricultural seed products.  Minimum of M.S. in Statistics with 3 years experience or Ph.D. in Statistics with 0 years experience.  Agricultural and/or genetics background desirable, but not required.  Solid foundation in statistical theory with strong interest in applied statistical analysis methodologies.  Expertise in Mixed Models and Experimental Design.  Expertise in SAS programming to include macros, data manipulation procedures (BASE, SQL), graphical procedures (GRAPH), and statistical analysis procedures (STAT, IML).  Experience with Access and manipulation of data from relational databases and spreadsheets (ACCESS, EXCEL, ORACLE).  Experience with Microsoft Windows.
