Biostatistician (Research Fellow)

The University of Minnesota Cancer Center seeks one or two Research Fellows for its Biostatistics Core and the Transdisciplinary Tobacco Use Research Center (TTURC) Design and Analysis Core.
The position(s) will involve primarily statistical analysis, and also meetings with investigators, designing studies, overseeing data entry, database management, report writing, preparing presentations and publications, and clinical trial monitoring. The Fellow will work closely with other statisticians in the core, basic scientists, and clinicians. A master’s degree in Biostatistics or Statistics is required. The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently and have good communication skills. Familiarity with SAS, S-plus and database management and design is desirable.
