Director of Measurement & Quality

Position Function:
Develop and implement clinical performance measurements for entities spanning the continuum of care to assess and enhance performance improvement initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:
Develop organization-wide plan for participating in external performance measurement initiatives, such as JCAHO, ORYX, VHA, STS, etc.
Direct the operational management of daily activities and institute project management techniques for all data collection, analysis, and reporting functions.
Collaborate on the development and implementation of data warehouse and client server applications that will enhance data access and analysis throughout the organization.
Establish and direct interdisciplinary teams to accomplish performance improvement initiatives.
Develop and implement organization-wide clinical performance report for the Board of Directors and Health Services Council that will catalyze organization-wide performance improvement.
Develop data collection tools, perform reliability assessments, and improve data integrity by designing and implementing a data reliability methodology.
Establish appropriate statistical analysis, including risk-adjustment fo clinical processes and outcomes.
Compile feedback from organizational entities into a succinct, organization-wide description of initiatives to improve performance.

Required Qualifications:
Masters Degree in Epidemiology, Statistics, Biostatistics or related field required, Ph.D. preferred.
Minimum 5 years experience SPECIFICALLY related to the above job responsibilities required.
Minimum 5 years management experience required.
