Exciting opportunity to provide statistical research and analysis for
expanding injury and trauma research programs at the National Study Center
for Trauma & Emergency Medical Systems, and the University of Maryland
Medical System Shock Trauma Center, the primary adult resource center for
Maryland.  Tasks will include: conducting technical statistical research and
analysis and compiling and interpreting statistical records and reports.  In
addition, the selected candidate will analyze   requests for
multidisciplinary statistcial studies and determine variables of new or
ongoing projects.  Other responsibilities will include: preparing reports,
graphs, and charts and occassioanally making oral presentations; providing
sample size and power calculations and develping special forms and formats
for analyzing and presenting data.

Requires Masters degree in Statistics or equivalent plus two or more years
of experience in statistical analysis.  The qualified candidate will have
the ability to multi-task; work in a group; demostrate computer application
skills, especially in MS Office and SAS; have thorough knowledge of
statistics and research methods, and have excellent communication and
organizational skills.  Desirable qualification include experience in a
medical research environment.
