The Division of Clinical Research, Department of Pediatrics, University of Massachusetts Medical School, Worcester, MA is recruiting a Statistician/Biostatistician at the level of Associate or Full Professor. The position involves independent methodological research with protected time, collaborative work with multidisciplinary research teams and clinicians and occasional teaching assignments and work with graduate students. The faculties in the Department of Pediatrics are a multidisciplinary group of clinicians, psychiatrists and psychologists, health services researchers with strong links to other clinical departments.
The primary location of this position is at the University of Massachusetts
Medical School in Worcester, MA that includes the University of Massachusetts
Memorial Medical Center, a tertiary care center serving the population
of central and western Massachusetts. The successful candidate has
an established research record in statistics, has a strong background in
study design and analysis, possesses analytic and computing skills, and
has the ability to work independently and in collaboration. Applicants
should have a doctorate in Statistics or Biostatistics, and with a strong
track record in effective collaboration with clinical researchers.
Experience in pediatric research is desirable.
