The Department of Biostatistics at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center seeks a highly motivated statistician with a minimum of an MS degree in Statistics or Biostatistics. Proficiency in S-Plus, SAS, Fortran, or C, and excellent communication skills are required. Experience in biostatistical consulting is preferred. The successful applicant will collaborate with other statisticians and faculty on a prostate cancer SPORE grant. Specific responsibilities will include interacting with project investigators regarding design issues for experiments and clinical trials, planning and conducting data analyses, running simulation studies, and writing interim reports and scientific manuscripts.
