Junior Faculty Members

The Department of Biostatistics, Harvard School of Public Health is recruiting two faculty
at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor or Lecturer. One position will be joint
with the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and is aimed at carrying out activities related to
cancer research. The other is targeted to AIDS/HIV research. The successful candidates
will be expected to be engaged in methodological research, teaching and collaborative
activities. A doctorate in biostatistics, statistics or a related field is required. All applicants
should have strong computer skills: at least one year postdoctoral experience is desirable.
Preference will be given to candidates who have experience/interest in cancer or
AIDS/HIV research and/or multi-center clinical trials. Applicants will be expected to play
leadership roles in the Department of Biostatistical Science, Dana-Farber Cancer
Institute or the Center for Biostatistics in AIDS research. At the Associate Professor
level the candidate should have an outstanding record of research and demonstrated
leadership capabilities.
