There is a regular, full-time position available as a Biostatistician
in Computational Biology at The Jackson Laboratory. The incumbent
will provide data analysis, experimental design, and consulting in a research
service environment employing cutting edge microarray (gene
expression) technologies. Responsibilities include working with staff of the Gene Expression Service and the Computational Biology Service to facilitate access to microarray technologies for 35 principal investigators investigating mouse models of human disease. A Master's degree in Life Sciences or Statistics and 1 to 3 years' relevant experience are required. Successful candidate will be creative, independent and self-motivated with an interest in biological sciences. Familiarity with statistical packages (SAS, Splus, Matlab) is a plus.
