Human Genetics Statistical Star Sought
Cutting Edge established client company is seeking an individual that
will be charged with the development and data analysis for mapping complex
disorders or elucidating gene functions. Your statistical expertise should
include linkage analysis, linkage disequilibrium mapping, association studies (family based and case/control), data mining and microarray analysis.
The variety of hats that this job will require you to wear makes a background in statistical consulting especially appealing.
Familiarity with UNIX computing environment is heavily desired. Also, a working knowledge of a programming language such as Fortran, C++, Splus or R is required.
Requires a PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, or related field and have experience in Statistical Genetics or Genetic Epidemiology.
