Duties And Responsibilities: Reports to and collaborates
with James Robins, Professor of
Epidemiology and Biostatistics, in developing and coding novel statistical methods for analyzing
complex longitudinal data with an emphasis on observational and randomized AIDS studies.
Responsibilities will include software development; user-friendly packaging to interface with S-Plus, SAS, and other commercially available packages; supporting and training graduate students in Epidemiology and Biostatistics programming. Conducting independent research on high level statistical journals and analyzing methods on real data.
Required Education: Optimal experience would be training in advanced mathematics, statistical programming, knowledge of C and higher-level languages such as S-Plus or SAS. PhD's in statistics, mathematics, computer science or physics required.
