Assistant or Associate Professor (2 positions)

The Department of Biostatistics, Harvard School of Public Health is recruiting two
faculty at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor. Responsibilities associated with
both positions include methodological research, teaching, and the supervision of graduate
students. One position will involve collaborative research in environmental health.  While
specific experience in this area is a plus, the main criterion for selection will be an
outstanding ability to conduct problem-based methodological research.  The second
position seeks someone with a record of research in statistical genetics, including
population genetics, complex disease genetics, and gene mapping. The successful
candidate will undertake both methodological research in statistical genetics and
collaborative research in genetic epidemiology with colleagues in the Harvard medical
area. Applicants for both positions should have a doctorate in biostatistics or statistics
and a minimum of one year postdoctoral experience, or equivalent.
