The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the
University of Guelph invites applications for a full-time tenure
track position to start July 1, 2002 or thereafter, at the rank of
Assistant Professor in Statistics. Minimum qualifications are a
Ph.D. in statistics and evidence of strong research and teaching
potential at all levels. All areas in statistics will be considered, but
the new faculty member is expected to actively participate in our
graduate program in applied statistics, which currently emphasizes
generalized linear and nonlinear models, bioassay, survival
analysis, orientation statistics and genetic statistics. Salary will be
commensurate with qualifications and experience.
