Assistant Professor (tenure-track)
The Department of Mathematics and Statistics of Georgia State University invites applications for an anticipated tenure-track entry-level position for an assistant professor beginning August 2002. Earned Ph.D in Statistics or closely related discipline, the capability of establishing a fundable program of research and publication, and excellent teaching skills are required. There is a preference for the areas of biostatistics or bioinformatics and for other areas that will strengthen or broaden current research areas in the department.
