Postdoctoral Research Associate and Visiting Positions
Non-profit research foundation has openings for two or more postdoctoral research associate and visiting positions to work on the development of statistical methods and models for HIV/AIDS dynamics, with applications to data from AIDS clinical trials. The positions may also involve collaboration with the faculty and biostatisticians at Harvard School of Public Health. Visiting positions are good for those with sabbatical leave. Preferred research areas include nonparametric regression methods, curve data analysis, state-space models and Kalman filter, mixed-effects models, Bootstrap methods and longitudinal data analysis. Strong computational skills (C or Fortran programming and interactions with Splus or R) are preferred. The scientific environment is conducive to professional development for those anticipating a career in either academic or pharmaceutical environment.
