Statistician

The Smith Child Health Research Program is seeking a Masters-level Statistician to work and collaborate with clinical and basic science researchers at Children’s Memorial Hospital and Children’s Memorial Institute of Education and Research (CMIER). The successful candidate will meet with researchers to discuss study design, assist in database design and management, conduct statistical analysis of data, assist in implementation and development of statistical methodology for studies and grant proposals, prepare reports and present results to investigators, write statistical sections for journal articles. Opportunities for research are also available.

Qualifications include a MS or an MPH degree in statistics/biostatistics with experience in statistical software (SAS, SPSS, etc) and graphing tools, excellent written and oral communication skills. Previous collaborative research experience is a plus.
