Assistant Professor (tenure-track)
Applications are invited for a tenure-track Assistant Professor level
position in statistics. Appointment will
begin in September 2003. Teaching load will generally be six quarter-classes per year. The department has
a graduate program offering both MS and PhD degrees with concentration in mathematics and statistics The
Department of Mathematical Sciences is dedicated to excellence in both research and teaching. Candidates
who have strong research potential and evidence of high-quality teaching, with interest in development of
statistical methodologies and applications of statistics, are encouraged to apply.
