Clinician Educator (non-tenure track) Faculty Positions

The Division of Biostatistics within the Department of Biostatistics and Epidemiology at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine seeks highly qualified applicants for Clinician Educator (collaborative) non-tenure track faculty positions at the Assistant, Associate or full Professor level. Academic rank will be commensurate with credentials and experience.  The School of Medicine offers a rich mix of biomedical research projects that give rise to complex methodological issues requiring novel statistical methods.   The Graduate Group in Epidemiology and Biostatistics, jointly with the Department of Statistics in the Wharton School, offers degree programs leading to both the Masterís of Science (MS) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biostatistics.  Candidates are expected to have a strong commitment to teaching and must demonstrate outstanding research productivity or promise.  Applicants with interest and experience in collaborative multi-center clinical trials, health services research, survey sampling, statistical genetics, and psychometrics, or in  collaborative research in epidemiology, psychiatry, AIDS, cancer, medical imaging, genetics, and Alzheimerís disease are especially encouraged to apply.  The expected start date is September 2002, or after.
