Assistant Professor

The School of Mathematics and Statistics invites applications for a tenure track position at the rank of Assistant Professor and
possibly higher starting July 1, 2004.  Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Mathematics, Statistics, or related areas, potential for
research demonstrated by post-doctoral experience or publication record and a strong commitment to excellence in teaching.
The School is particularly interested in candidates who are actively engaged in research in discrete mathematics, statistics or
applied probability; however, outstanding candidates in all areas of mathematics or statistics will be considered. More
