Statistician Manager

Senior Level Statistician Manager for our small business group. Must have experience in statistical
analysis, model development, and 2+ years in a managerial role.

Primary responsibilities of this position include:

     Identify opportunities to leverage statistical solutions to business problems.
     Serve as a strategic planning liaison among multiple matrixed departments and external business
     partners.
     Manage resources against key business priorities.
     Identify opportunities to leverage statistical solutions to business problems.
     Provide statistical direction to business leaders.
     Play a leading role in the analysis and redesign of existing business processes and methodologies
     across departments.
     Direct statistical analysis and support of key business drivers.
     Oversee statistical model design implementation and on-going monitoring of existing models.
     Direct test design ad analysis.
     Build/lead a team of statisticians and/or data analysts.

Requirements for candidates include the following:

     Bachelors in a quantitative major (i.e. statistics, economics, engineering, operations research) with
     relevant work experience.
     Demonstrated ability in strong quantitative and analytical skills
     Minimum of 2 years managerial experience as a strategic and/or quantitative leader in an innovative
     corporate environment.
     Demonstrated ability to drive innovation with a passion for achieving results
     Proven conceptual skills
     Strong project management, project implementation, change management, and strategy formulation
     Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to relate to senior level executives and
     external business partners, strong consensus building skills needed
     Ability to work collaboratively with other lines of business
     Proven experience in managing groups of talented individuals
     Team development skills

Ideal candidates will have the following:

     Masters in a quantitative major and/or MBA with a concentration in Quantitative Business Analysis
     with relevant work experience.
     Financial Services experience Customer, Product or Market-based experience
     Degree Required: Bachelors Degree
