Lead by the Manager, Lab Information Services, this accomplished performer will mentor and expand your skills enabling you to successfully meet the challenges of this opportunity while grooming you for internal advancement. In this autonomous role, your expertise would enhance the areas of Experimental design; Data collection, analysis, and reporting; Database
management; Process control; quality systems (ISO 9001, 17025) and spearhead
improvements in statistical methodologies. The dynamics involve the area of new product testing and development.

Your prior experience would preferably entail: Factor analysis, principle component analysis, cluster analysis, discriminate analysis, multi-dimensional scaling, experimental design, statistical process control/control chart and consumer research or sensory evaluation. Ideally, within the span of your career, exposure to the consumer products industry within a laboratory setting has been gained, although not mandatory.

Minimum Education:  Bachelor of Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a related discipline with valuable experience, alternatively a Masters degree with 2 years experience.

Experience within a statistical role preferably within a scientific environment, however this is not mandatory; Advanced user knowledge of spreadsheet and statistical packages (SAS preferred); database design (Oracle, MS Access). Unix, and Visual Basic programming ability would be considered an asset.
