Biostatistician (Search number M1279)

The Center for Statistical Sciences at Brown University has an immediate opening for a biostatistician to work on research
projects at the Center.  The position offers excellent opportunities for professional growth in a stimulating research environment,
collaborating on both local and multi-center clinical studies.  Candidates should have a master's degree in Biostatistics, Statistics,
or Biometry.  A master's degree in Epidemiology, Health Services Research, Applied Mathematics or a related field may be
sufficient if appropriate statistical course work has been completed, or a combination of extensive statistical training and
experience.  Candidates must exhibit excellent written and oral communication skills and have experience in biomedical data
analysis.  Working knowledge of major statistical software package (Splus, SAS and/or Stata) and experience in computing in
both Windows and UNIX environment are highly desirable.
