Instructor positions (2)
The Department of Applied Statistics and Operations Research at
Bowling Green State University invites applications for two Instructor positions
starting August 2003. Appointment up to three years subject to satisfactory
annual evaluation. Possibility of continuation for additional three-year
appointments subject to need, funding and performance. Position does
not lead to tenure.
Additional temporary Instructor appointment(s) for a period of one year
is (are) anticipated subject to budgetary approval. Applications for the
temporary positions will be accepted until the position(s) is (are) filled.
Responsibilities include teaching four courses of introductory statistics
and/or operations research per semester. Minimum qualification is a
master's degree in statistics or operations research or a related discipline.
Ability to teach both areas, prior experience in teaching in these areas, and/or
experience in the application of statistics and operations research are desired.
Compensation for the academic year will be competitive.
