Two Assistant/Associate Professor Positions

 The Department of Statistics and Computer Information Systems at the Bernard M. Baruch College of the City University of
New York invites applicants for tenure track positions in statistics at the assistant and associate professorship levels to begin as
early as September, 2004. Ph.D. in Statistics or related area is required. Applicants must demonstrate a strong potential for
research, and teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Candidates from all areas of statistics are invited to apply;
those with research interests in the functional areas of business, such as Accounting, Finance and Marketing are especially
welcome. Consulting and computing experience a plus. Salaries commensurate with qualifications and experience.

The Statistics/CIS department is located in the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College. Baruch is located in the heart of
one of the world's most dynamic financial and cultural centers, on Lexington Avenue, near the Flatiron and Gramercy Park
neighborhoods of Manhattan. It is ranked as one of the most diverse colleges in the United States with students from across the
wide spectrum of New York City's cosmopolitan population, as well as from 148 other nations around the world. Total
enrollment is over 15,000, including nearly 2,500 graduate students.
