Faculty Position, Division of Biostatistics
The Albert Einstein College of Medicine (AECOM) is seeking applications, at any level, for a faculty position in the Division of Biostatistics, Department of Epidemiology and Population Health (DEPH). AECOM is a leading research institution with a strong commitment to excellence in research. The DEPH is well recognized for its multi-disciplinary programs in epidemiologic, prevention, and health services research and will undergo considerable expansion of its faculty base over the next few years.
The successful candidate will be a faculty member in the Division of Biostatistics and will participate in the Biometry Core of the Rose F. Kennedy Center, which is internationally recognized for its neuroscience and development research. Candidates should have research interests in one or more of the following areas: genetics, clinical trials, spatial modeling, microarray studies, image analysis, and computational modeling. Additionally, he/she will have opportunities to collaborate and consult on the design and analysis of epidemiological and clinical studies with other AECOM faculty members, to develop an independent program of research, and to teach medical and graduate students. The position will provide opportunities for diverse research experiences in a highly collegial environment with potential for growth.
Applicants should have a doctorate in biostatistics or statistics, excellent verbal and written communication skills, relevant research and teaching experience, a record of peer-reviewed publications, and a strong interest in methodologic research.
