The Albert Einstein College of Medicine (AECOM) is seeking applications for a faculty position in the Division of Biostatistics in the Department of Epidemiology and Population Health (DEPH). AECOM is a leading research institution with a strong commitment to excellence in research. The DEPH is well recognized for its multi-disciplinary programs in epidemiologic, prevention, and health services research and is currently undergoing considerable expansion of its faculty base.
The successful candidate will be a faculty member in the Division of Biostatistics and collaborate with AECOM faculty and the Bioinformatics Shared Resource on the analysis of data from genomic and proteomic studies. Additionally, he/she will have opportunities to collaborate and consult on the design and analysis of epidemiological and clinical studies with other AECOM faculty members, to develop an independent program of research, and to teach medical and graduate students. The position will provide opportunities for diverse research experiences in a highly collegial environment with potential for growth.
Applicants should have a doctorate in biostatistics or statistics, experience in the analysis of microarray and/or proteomic studies, excellent verbal and written communication skills, relevant research and teaching experience, a record of peer-reviewed publications, and a strong interest in methodologic research.
