REPORTS TO: Manager - Analysis/Testing
PURPOSE: To assist Analysis/Testing Manager in working with Merchants
to execute all tests, analyzing test results and communicating with all
departments involved, while contributing to the performance of the Division?s
functional and cross-functional teams.

Prepare all information related to current tests on Monday morning.
Coordinate testing by preparing test packets that will go to shops, communicating
with shop operations on a daily/weekly basis all pertinent test information
and communicating with Marketing about any special needs for a test.
Act as a liaison with the Allocation and distribution center regarding
any test issues.
Monitor test shop inventory to ensure proper inventory balance.
Prepare, analyze and maintain a library of test results and recommendations.
Help create and maintain standard test formats for reporting purposes.
Review test shop groups with shop management and update once a season.
Help the manager analyze and report all major test results at Target Meeting
and Merchant Touchbase Meeting.
Make recommendations based on results that deliver optimal volume and margin.
Monitor and communicate findings for appropriate initiatives for Heart
of Gold Shops to continue to leverage sales/profits in our top performing
Help select and control the number of shops conducting tests.
Coordinate all details related to testing and to analyzing and reporting
the results of those tests.
College degree or equivalent experience. MBA preferred.
5-7 years planning background, with inventory planning and retail experience
Demonstrated ability to achieve business results while managing multiple
priorities and personalities. Excellent communication, analytical and statistical
skills. Strong computer skills.
