Assistant or associate professor level

Applications are invited for an anticipated tenure track position in statistics at the assistant or associate professor level starting in August 2001. Candidates must have a Ph.D. degree in mathematics or statistics. Applicants must have a strong commitment to research and the potential to become an effective teacher. Responsibilities include teaching statistics at the master's level, and advising and curriculum development in both the undergraduate program and the master's level program.

The selection process begins December 4, 2000. To receive full consideration, all materials must be received by January 17, 2001. The application package should consist of a resume, three letters of recommendation, a statement of research plans and a statement of teaching philosophy.
