The Department of Mathematics at the University of Colorado at Denver seeks to fill a position at the Full Professor level, contingent on budgetary approval, beginning August 2001. We offer B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees; faculty interests span computational mathematics, discrete mathematics, engineering mathematics, operations research, probability, and statistics. We seek qualified applicants in applied statistics: the ideal candidate will interface well with faculty in other areas. See our web page for more details on the department.

Applicants should have demonstrated accomplishments in research, teaching, program development, and have a strong commitment to outreach and professional service. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in statistics or a related discipline. The Department currently maintains a network of Unix- and Linux-based computers, with S-Plus being the principal statistics environment.
