The Consumer Science department at Unilever Research U.S. is seeking quality college seniors /graduate students who have strong statistical background for our year 2001 summer internship.
The ideal candidates should have statistical computing and data manipulation skills using the SAS system and understanding in multivariate analysis. Good written/oral communication skills are required, as well as interest in cultural differences. The selected students will work closely with us for three months on data analysis of cross-cultural differences in consumer habits. The payment will be $16/hr (for completion of senior year), $18/hr (for completion of master degrees) or $20 (for post-doc). If the student is from outside of New York Metropolitan area, they will receive free accommodation (company apartment) and free ground transportation (if needed) for three months, as well as free round-trip transportation for coming to work and back to school. It is a great opportunity for students who would like to obtain industry work experience and have a fun summer with a taste of "the Big Apple".
