RESEARCH FELLOW IN BIOSTATISTICS

The Division of Biostatistics in the University of Minnesota's School of Public Health is seeking an entry level Research Fellow with an M.S. or M.P.H. in biostatistics, applied statistics, epidemiology, or a related field to work on epidemiologic analyses of a large cardiovascular research project. The position is an annually renewable professional academic appointment.

The Research Fellow position will involve assisting with the data analysis and publication and presentation of trial results from the Multiple Risk Factor Intervention Trial. Research Fellows work closely with clinicians and Ph.D.-level statisticians.

The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent data management skills, and a working knowledge of both the SAS and SPLUS statistical packages. This position could be full- or part-time.
