Research Fellow Position

Biostatistics Core, University of Minnesota Cancer Center Research Fellow Position

The University of Minnesota Cancer Center seeks a statistician/biostatistician for the Transdisciplinary Tobacco Use Research Center (TTURC). Responsibilities include: 1) consulting with investigators on design, conduct, and analysis of research experiments and surveys; 2) leading the database development efforts, planning for data management, and supervising data entry; 3) conducting statistical analyses and preparing reports for research publications and presentations.

Requirements: M. S. in Biostatistics/Statistics; excellent oral and written communication skills; knowledge of WinNT and UNIX operating systems; experience with software including SAS, MS ACCESS. Familiarity with Oracle and S-plus desired.
