Amazon.com's Website Metrics & Analysis team is seeking a talented individual for the role of statistical analyst. Our teamís vision is to work with our internal customers to understand and instrument the "science of online shopping". More specifically, the statistical analyst will lead & employ a wide variety of data analysis methods to drive quantitative decisions that improve customer shopping experience and sales on Amazon websites. Successful candidates will have extensive experience applying diverse statistical methods in a business environment, providing statistical leadership on several projects simultaneously, and executing & delivering on project objectives. Experience using Unix, SAS, Splus and other statistical software is preferred. Demonstration of strong communication skills, individual initiative and adaptability to change is a must. Compensation includes stock options.
