Duties connected to these position are primarily the teaching of undergraduate courses. The Department of Statistics teaches approximately 7000 undergraduate students per year in a wide array of introductory and specialty courses. These students come from nearly all colleges on campus. A full-time teaching load is 12 hours per semester.
Applicants for this position should have a master's degree in statistics or a closely allied field and have some teaching experience. Some experience with modern statistical computing is highly recommended.
