Applications are invited for two newly approved tenure-track positions and one visiting position, at the Assistant Professor level, starting September 2001. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in statistics. The primary focus is a strong commitment to and proven ability in undergraduate teaching, although continued scholarly activity and professional development are expected. Preference will be given to candidates with experience teaching in a statistical laboratory and having an interest in innovative instructional methods using current technology. The Department offers Bachelors degrees in Applied Statistics, Applied Mathematics, and Computational Mathematics, as well as a Masters degree in Industrial and Applied Mathematics.
