Assistant Professor Positions
The Department of Statistics at The Ohio State University invites applications
for one or two full-time tenure-track positions at the Assistant Professor
level starting in September 2001. Requirements include a doctorate in biostatistics
or statistics and demonstrated excellence in teaching and research. We
are emphasizing areas of expertise that would enhance Departmental and
University strengths in biostatistics (especially statistical genetics),
statistical computing, and spatial/temporal and environmental statistics.
However, applicants with expertise in any area of biostatistics or statistics
will be considered. Salary is commensurate with experience. Please send
