Tenure track Assistant/Associate Professor
The Department of Preventive Medicine seeks an experienced biostatistician
for a tenure track Assistant/Associate Professor position. This person
will Tjoin a dynamic department with a growing extramurally funded research
program. The candidate will assist in the design and analysis of behavioral,
basic science, and clinical research projects. In addition, he/she will
act as a collaborator on grants and assist in the programmatic development
of a campus-wide outcomes research program. Other duties include teaching
and mentoring MPH and medical students. Opportunities exist to affiliate
with a nationally recognized Center on Aging with a federally funded Claude
D. Pepper Center grant and faculty in the Department of Health Policy and
Management (with a certified MHA Program).
Qualifications: Ph.D. in Statistics/Biostatistics. Prefer academic experience
with track record of funded research, publishing, and teaching skills.
