The Division of Biostatistics at the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis is accepting applications for a Biostatistician opening. The position requires a Master's degree in Statistics or Biostatistics or a master's degree in epidemiology with a strong statistics background. The successful candidate will collaborate with medical investigators on projects in the areas of health services research, cancer, dentistry, diabetes, hypertension, dementia, arthritis, osteoporosis, and/or other medical research. There are also opportunities for participation in innovative statistical research.
Required Skills: Data analysis experience, statistical computing package expertise (prefer SAS and/or S-Plus), and excellent communication skills.
Desired Skills: Ability to work independently in data analysis and consulting, programming experience (Fortran, C, C++),.
