Junior Faculty Members

The Department of Biostatistics at the Harvard School of Public Health is recruiting three faculty at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor. One position will be joint with the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, one will be joint with Children's Hospital of Boston, and one will be focused on HIV/AIDS. The responsibilities for all 3 positions include teaching, research in biostatistical methods, and collaborative applied research. A doctorate in biostatistics or statistics, or a related field is required. At least one year of postdoctoral experience is preferred but not required. For the position that is joint with the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (a Harvard teaching hospital), preference will be given to applications who have experience in cancer research and/or clinical trials. For the position that is joint with Children's Hospital (a Harvard teaching hospital), preference will be given to applicants with experience with statistical methods for longitudinal data and/or clinical trials. For the position in HIV/AIDS, preference will be given to individuals with an interest or experience in methods for designing and analyzing HIV vaccine and therapeutic studies.
