Frontier Science & Technology Research Foundation, Inc.

Postdoctoral Fellow

Non-profit research foundation anticipates opening for two or more postdoctoral fellows to work on statistical methodology research with applications to HIV dynamics and cellular kinetics. The major responsibilities for these positions are development of statistical methods and models for HIV and cell dynamics, with applications to data from AIDS clinical trials. Preferred research areas for one position include nonparametric regression methods, varying-coefficient models, mixed-effects models, and longitudinal data analysis; and for another position include Bayesian statistics, clinical trial simulations and modeling biological process. Both theoretical background and computational skills are essential. The positions may also involve collaboration with the biostatistics faculty and statisticians at Harvard School of Public Health. The scientific environment is conducive to professional development for those anticipating a career in either academic or pharmaceutical environment. This is a unique opportunity for well-trained individuals interested in both methodologic and applied research. Please send CV and three references to
