Wind Energy Data Analyst


Enron Wind manufactures, constructs, operates, and maintains wind turbine farms throughout the world. The Wind Energy Analyst position utilizes various data and information sources to report performance issues, predict energy production, and troubleshoot operation. Data Analysts develop reports using statistical techniques and a variety of database applications. The Wind Energy Analyst will use SCADA, anemometers, electrical substations, and asset databases to report on production and revenue of wind turbine generators.


Ability to perform statistical analysis on data to extract required information in a timely manner with no errors. Must be fluent in Microsoft Access, Excel, and Word. Able to design queries, reports, and charts using these tools. S-Plus and ArcView experience preferred. Programming ability in Microsoft C/C++ and/or Microsoft Visual Basic desirable. Oracle and Windows NT experienced preferred. College degree required in a technical field.
