Biostatistician

The Cornell Intervention Research Center (IRC) on Geriatric Mood Disorders (NIMH supported) seeks a Ph.D. Biostatistician to be the Director of its Biostatistics Core. The IRC conducts research on biological and psychosocial factors influencing the course of geriatric mood disorders as well as studies on treatment effectiveness in diverse elderly populations, including primary care patients, home health care patients, and psychiatric patients. The Biostatistician will have a faculty appointment at Weill Medical College of Cornell University. The position is suitable for a biostatistician with leadership skills, proficiency in analysis of longitudinal outcome data and clinical trials methodology, ability to contribute to grant applications, and interest in independent and collaborative research.
