Immediate openings in the Department's Collaborative Biostatistics Center:
Masters-level biostatistician to collaborate directly and independently with clinical scientists on a variety of studies related primarily to the causes, prevention, new treatments, and clinical practice outcomes related to heart disease. This person will join an established team of other biostatisticians and statistical programmers and will work on numerous studies, providing expertise and support in all phases of statistical science, from designing studies to publishing the results.
Masters-level biostatistician as described above, to collaborate with clinical and basic science researchers from over 25 medical sub-specialty department.
Applicants should possess a masters degree in biostatistics, statistics, or a related field. Relevant statistical experience in a biomedical environment is desirable. Excellent written/oral communication skills, good interpersonal skills, and strengths in using standard statistical software are essential. Must have the potential to collaborate effectively and creatively on their own with clinical investigators.
